Vitalia Mejeraite was born in 1982 in Svetlogorsk in Belarus. She graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Belarus and the Academy of Arts in Vilnius (Lithuania) in 2007. Vitalia lives and works in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Even during the course of study at the Academy of Fine Arts Vitalia’s works have been exhibited in the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts.
Vitalia’s art unites traditions of Lithuania and Belarus. She paints exclusively from a nature. But it does not mean that Vitalia mechanically and chilly reflects real surrounding relying only professional skills. Her landscapes are deeply individual: the confident lien and vigour confirm that Vitalia works long with the environment chose for the image, as they say in such cases “passes a material through themselves” and when the process of preparation is completed, safely splash out impressions on a canvas. Each work is exceptional and unique, Her paintings and icons live in different places all over the world.
Vitalia had individual exhibitions in Vilnius and Nemenchine, Lithuania. She also took part in many group exhibitions, open airs in the country and abroad.
