Armed with a degree in Art History and Painting Restoration/Conservation from the University of Granada, Aguilar embarked on her artistic journey in her hometown in 1995. There, she began creating mural paintings for various public and private establishments, showcasing her talent and leaving her mark on the local landscape. Subsequently, Aguilar explored stage decoration for national theater companies, further expanding her repertoire and honing her skills.
As a versatile artist, Aguilar has also delved into illustration and photography, contributing book covers and images to the publishing house Darek-Nyumba. Her artistic endeavors have been featured in both collective and individual exhibitions across Jaén, Granada, and Paris, where her distinctive style and creative vision have captivated audiences.
For Aguilar, drawing from life remains a central passion, as she never leaves her house without essential tools: a drawing pad, pencil, brushes, and Chinese ink. Guided by her intuition and fueled by her unwavering passion for artistic expression, Aguilar continues to push boundaries and explore new realms of creativity in her art.
