Career
Carole AUBERT was born in Reims in 1972. At first she studied Interior Design as a pre-diploma and followed this up with Fine Arts in Paris where she specialised in studying the human form and its symbolism by using clay and other new materials as volume creation, or three-dimensional configuration.

Then, she dropped everything, cut herself off from the noisy superficial cacophony of daily routine, and immersed herself in the quiet contemplative silence of monastic reclusion.

On her return to the real world she set about expressing the erosion of the Soul that grates away in the depths of our innermost being, as if to say : " It is time, perhaps, to stop thinking that the world begins at the surface of our skin, lift the veiled facade, and let oneself be siezed by the breath of life itself ".

In doing this, she invites each spectator to fulfill their own emotion, as they take in the different works proposed….
