Pierre KUENTZ has been painting for 50 years ………….
Already at the age of 18, he sold paintings on the French Riviera and gave many of them to passing friends...After "history of art" which introduced him to the masters of painting, he became passionate about the Impressionists and the expressionists during his years in Africa. He researches the juxtaposition of primary colors and the shadows and reflections so present in the luminous universe of GABON and COTE D'IVOIRE.
During his career as a business manager in the field of Human Resources, he participated in and attended numerous artistic events, museums and exhibitions which brought him into contact with a diversity of contemporary artists and gallery owners.
He forged and deepened his pictorial technique based on color and sand with the benevolent help of Gustave TIFFOCHE, Breton master, painter and potter recognized internationally (works on the boat France and among Swiss, Belgian and American collectors)
Born in MARSEILLE, it is quite naturally to his city that he devotes a large part of his creativity. This is only the beginning of a passionate activity that he now practices full time and which competes with his others. passions, travel and astronomy in which he will draw many images and sensations that he will be able to restore to us.....
After a few confidential and noticed exhibitions in MARSEILLE and LA ROCHE POSAY he finally decides today to present his work to the public through salons and galleries.
You can come and see his other works, in his studio in AUBAGNE. 702 Chemin de RIQUET 13400. You are welcome!
