I travel a lot and I got into the habit of doodling the world around me in my notebooks... There are drawings from everywhere, I try to transcribe places or moments that have touched me. I prefer to use a fine point (or rather several fine points of different leads) and I like to leave my drawings quite raw, with a few more pencil strokes in filigree, to keep the spontaneity of the line. I learned to draw by copying comic strips, hence my illustrator style... I like to draw on the spot, without preparatory sketches, always to keep the spontaneity of the first glance.
