Maria Adelaide Lamesa è nata a Grottaferrata (nei Castelli romani), vive e lavora a Roma. Fin da adolescente ha sperimentato varie tecniche artistiche come lo sbalzo su rame, la pittura su stoffa, vetro e ceramica ed ha frequentato corsi di disegno, pittura e trompe l’oeil , ma il suo vero “amore” artistico è la pittura ad olio appresa dal pittore Franco Crocoli, e utilizzata per riprodurre con fedeltà e partecipazione emotiva ritratti e copie dei grandi maestri del passato. Ha affinato le sue tecniche ad olio seguendo gli insegnamenti del maestro e storico dell’arte Rodolfo Papa ed ha studiato “Tecniche Pittoriche antiche” nella scuola Zabaglia di Roma . Ha seguito un corso di iconografia secondo le tecniche bizantine nel laboratorio “La Glikophilousa”nella Locride , ha approfondito le sue competenze, in particolare sulle arti antiche, nello studio “il Micromosaico” di Luigina Rech e nel suo percorso di conoscenza pittorica a 360°ha iniziato lo studio della tecnica dell’affresco.—
