Aerial Landscapes (Unconscious maps) is a series of images which recall unkown, yet familar landscapes and places. Landscapes I overfly when I sleep. Landscapes which only exist in that dimension out of space and time. From the limits of landscapes and the reference of topograhic representations, the work encourages the observer to personalize those places through the primal instinct of recognizing and belonging.

En esta serie, las obras tienen una ausencia de descripción realista, pero generan la sensación de estar ante algo que es familiar.
A partir de los límites del paisaje y las referencias a las representaciones topográficas, el trabajo anima al espectador para personalizar estos lugares a través de un instinto fundamental de reconocer y pertenecer.
Estas obras son también una evocación de algunos problemas contemporáneos del hombre frente a la naturaleza: el paisaje natural se ha vuelto algo abstracto.
A partir de los límites del paisaje y las referencias a las representaciones topográficas, el trabajo anima al espectador para personalizar estos lugares a través de un instinto fundamental de reconocer y pertenecer.
Estas obras son también una evocación de algunos problemas contemporáneos del hombre frente a la naturaleza: el paisaje natural se ha vuelto algo abstracto.

En el mar el tiempo siempre es presente y por eso, se convierte en el eterno conector.
El mar de la vida y la muerte, de la pasión y el odio, de la turbulencia y la calma. El mar nos da cuenta de lo misterioso, de lo siempre cambiante, de lo que no vemos detrás de lo que vemos, de nuestra pequeñez y de nuestra pertenencia.
Es la ancestral presencia que nos recuerda sutilmente nuestro origen a la vez que nos propone siempre nuevos horizontes, nuevos futuros.

Una visión diferente (no la turística) de la Barcelona de todos los días.
Fotografías documentales de la transformación del barrio del Raval de Barcelona. Tomadas antes de los derribos de edificios, de la desaparición de calles al costado de la nueva Rambla del Raval.
No fueron sólo los edificios los que desaparecieron.
Estas fotos (más de 500) dieron origen a “Mosaicos del Raval” un trabajo fragmentario, no sólo por la propuesta misma, sino también porque cada día desaparecían edificios, y las series quedaban incompletas.

Biography
Marcela Jardón is a photographer and painter from Buenos Aires, Argentina, born in 1964. She obtained a diploma of Higher Professor in Drawing and Sculpture as well as a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1988.
Marcela Jardón's artistic practice lies at the intersection of drawing, photography, video, new media, installation, visual poetry and artist's books. She explores the relationship between images and language as symbolic productions. His projects incorporate "repentismos graficos" and work with simple images and everyday objects to explore the obscure aspects of the unconscious, controversial concepts and hidden stories that often underlie what surrounds us.
Marcela Jardón's works have been exhibited and published in America, Europe and Asia, in institutions such as the University of Valencia, the Argentine Society of Plastic Artists of Buenos Aires, the Opera House of Sydney in Australia, the Kanazawa Art Center Citizen in Japan, the Museum of the University of Alicante... and in several galleries. Some of his works already belong to private and public collections in Argentina, Spain, Canada, Panama, Australia, Italy, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Japan, Sweden, United States. States, Mexico, the Netherlands, Belgium, among others.
The works of Marcela Jardón can be found in public collections such as the Catalog of the Department of Fine Arts and Cartography of the National Library of Spain, the Specialized Library in Contemporary Photography of the Forvm Foundation for Photography in Tarragona, the 'AICOA, the Art Fund of the University of Valencia, the University Pinacoteca of the University of Panama, Panama, Procreation-Postcreation. Estampa es una feria de arte contemporáneo que se celebra en el otoño madrileño desde hace 29 años, cuyo ámbito de trabajo es el mercado del arte en España, y su preocupación es la formación y estabilización de un coleccionismo sostenible para un galerismo en crecimiento y actualización constantes en nuestro país.
La feria se articula en torno a un Programa General de grandes galerías españolas y una serie de programas cuyos comisarios plantean la actualidad más reciente de la práctica del arte contemporáneo o colocan el foco en asuntos más experimentales y menos transitados por el gran público.

· Вышел в свет 4 номер журнала Community Arts !!!Если вы любите, когда не продают, а просто показывают красииивое, если вас все еще тревожит большая куча, которую на некоторое время оставил в Москве Урс Фишер, а при слове «дюна» у вас мандраж – вам точно следует купить этот журнал. Уверен, он облегчит ваши тяготы. Если же вы ни слова не поняли из того, что я только что написал, то вот вам длинная авторская аннотация.
Итак, как вы уже догадались, этот номер посвящен красоте, которая не слишком-то любима современным арт-сообществом. Сегодня любой проект рассматривается как произведение искусства, только лишь потому, что автор поднял глубоко значимые социально-политические темы или коснулся мало освещаемых СМИ и, как следствие, мало интересных широкой публике аспектов научного знания. А что он собственно сделал как художник? Написал на обшарпанной стене какие-то слова, натаскал из мусорных бачков какого-то барахла, небрежно раскрасил гуашью пару чёрно-белых фотографий и так далее… На мой взгляд, вся вот эта деятельность не имеет никакого отношения к большому искусству, даже если и затрагивает большие, острые вопросы человеческого существования. Проблема в том, что человеческое сознание просто не воспринимает бытийные смыслы в конкретно-чувственной форме, если эта форма лишена эстетического качества. Так устроен человек. И сколько бы меня не убеждали, что отталкивающее на вид, вкус и запах варево (ну или визуальный hash) полезно и необходимо, я не стану употреблять его вовнутрь ни при каких обстоятельствах. Варево, к сожалению, бесполезно именно потому, что несъедобно. И никакое «возвышенное» не сможет, да простит меня Лиотар и прочие иже с ним, подменить собою «прекрасного». Но что-то я отвлекся…Все, кто со мной не согласны и хотят поспорить, прежде должны прочесть мою вступительную статью «Красота в изгнании». Эта статья будет вам полезна, в любом случае, куда полезней, чем эмоциональные излияния девушек-молодушек и бабушек-алкоголичек после очередного открытия новой затрапезной выставки. Читайте.Далее интересный материал о творчестве южнокорейского художника Кён Ву Чана, работающего на грани перформанса, инсталляции и фотографии. Всё, что он делает тонко, умно, концептуально и местами невероятно красиво.Затем вас ждет небольшая, но весьма содержательная статья Katya Refenstahl о красоте и феминизме. Она комплементарна моей вступительной статье и освещает некоторые вопросы, которые я так и не затронул. Иными словами, наши текст интересно читать друг за другом. Далее раздел «Ракурсы» и подборка замечательных зарубежных художников, которые понимают красоту весьма свободно и абстрактно. Ну, что сказать. Работа красивая, Лика тоже красивая. Очень. На странице есть QR-код для просмотра. Предупреждаю, что видео может довести вас не только до нежности, но и до инфаркта. Так что, осторожнее.Затем fashion story от Марины Смит. Её замечательные работы вы уже видели в барочном 2 номере. В рубрике «Аннотации» как всегда отличные выставки и книги. Особенно рекомендую невероятный музей UCCA Dune, который скрывается в настоящих дюнах, и новую персональную выставку Даниэля Аршама. Фото с обложки именно оттуда. Если вас все еще тревожит «Большая глина № 4», то вам, возможно, следует увидеть более качественные, осмысленные и пластически завершенные образцы подобного искусства, например, в исполнении легендарного Тони Крэгга. Но это, конечно, не Болотная набережная, это – Норфолк...В целом номер удался, впрочем, как всегда. Красота среди нас, она с нами, она еще не погибла. Я все еще верю в это. А вы?

"I work in art since 1980 and I'm changing the media, media and techniques, depending on each project.
My artistic practice is located at the intersection of drawing, photography, video, new media, installation, visual poetry, artists' books and research of the relationship between images and language as symbolic productions.
The exploration of hybrid forms, the vision and the production process spanning several disciplines and distances between past and present, analog and digital.
In my projects I incorporate texts as "repentismos graphics", fragments of texts, quotes out of context from different sources and original photograph, and recreation fragments of previous own works. I work using everyday images, retrieving previous images, simple objects, exploring the dark places of the unconscious, controversial concepts, and hidden stories behind often around us. "
