EROS DE LA MEMOIRE
Pour le peintre, le corps humain est l’un des thèmes les plus fascinants et obscedants. Un corps qui n’est pas nécessairement le sien, mais qu’il assume comme l’étant. corps devenu langage, environement et discours plastiques. Depuis plus de dix ans, le corps idéal et sensuel d’un modèle revient toujours dans les œuvres de Carlos Alberto Castillo. Certes dans son regard et sa création des modifications ce sont accomplies. Ses œuvres actuellement ici présentées sous le titre « Eros de la Mémoire », montrent une lumière qui entoure de pénombre l’objet éveillant ainsi le désir visuel. Lumière et couleur classiques, comme si la volonté du peintre l’isolait dans son imaginaire. Scène découpée en une succession en gestation, en un Eros sans convulsion. Femmes nues à peine couvertes souvent, dans ses œuvres les plus récentes sous le regard proche d’un homme mûr à demi caché au deuxième plan. Peinture et thème de l’atelier, jeux devant le miroir pour souligner l’eternel élan existentiel.
