Fawaz Elyas Sakaw,professionally known as “Jogbeley“ is a versatile and self-taught artist born in Accra,Ghana in the year 1996.he studied Visual Arts in Senior High School. He developed the aptitude and creativity for the execution of everyday contemporary art in various media’s ranging from wet to dry, His artworks serves time capsules to preserve everything from our past and the present. Every discarded object he finds according to Fawaz tells him something distinctive ,be it fabric scraps ,photographs,stories etc. He believes that reincarnating these objects through his works allow his audiences to have a second thought on the conceptual beauty of wastes in our lives that may have been ignored, yet valuable for his creations. Amongst his role models and mentors in the art world is Norman Rockwell,okolo oliver.Salvator Dali and Amoako Boafo a Ghanaian contemporary artist.
