I currently am featured in two prestigious art anthologies. "100 Artists Of New England," compiled by noted art historian E. Ashley Rooney, is described as "a great resource for artists, collectors, art dealers and art historians." It is available on Amazon. "Best Of Worldwide Landscape Artists" was sponsored by Dick Blick Art Materials and Savoir Faire and is described as " a visual journey celebrating outstanding artists from around the world."


I painted "Marilyn's Chickens" on site at our neighbor's chicken coop last Summer. These girls are very special to me. In addition to providing a regular bounty of ultra-fresh eggs, their painting won an award at the recent Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society exhibit, juried and judged by famed Gloucester artist and author, Charles Movalli.


I am currently in the "On Holiday: The Artist Travels" exhibit at the Lyme Art Association through April 23.


Teaching events later this year are a color mixing demonstration - "Going Green" - to the Glastonbury Art Guild on May 12; a 1-day workshop - "Going Green: Fun With Color Mixing" - at the Arts Center At Killingworth on June 12; and a 2-day workshop - "Fun With Color Mixing" - at the Guilford Art Center on July 23-24. I recently won the Art Galleries Prize for "After The Fair" at the Madison Art Society exhibition judged by David Dunlop and the Art Appreciation Award for "Rocky Hill Ferry At Dock" at the Clinton Art Society exhibition.
