I get inspiration from ethnic Buryat traditions and amazing fairy tales, which I shape into magical realistic work.
A special Buryat mythological motive - a woman, the Mother-Goddess by the tree.
The White Mistress of the forest sits alone on a tree and peers into the depths of the forest. The dark sky and stars on it complement the fabulous mystery of this night. We feel the silence of the forest and wait for miracles to happen.
Her Father, the owner of the forest, Khangai ezen or White Master of Forest, was considered a very rich deity, but his wealth lay in various kinds of animals: he had whole herds of elk with stallions - horses, red deer with stallions - deer... He rode huge black elk, which is why the Buryats considered it a sin to beat dark brown elk.

My name is Dolgor Dugarova. I am from Siberia, Russia and live now in in the Netherlands. Several years ago I lost 4 people in a short period of time who are very dear to me. During that time I have been lonely and depressed. Eventually I started painting and I started teaching other people to paint. Through painting I discovered that I can do much more than I had dared to think. I have already done a few exhibitions. My paintings stand out. This gives me inspiration to keep going and to help other people.
Our world changes when we change ourselves. A lot of problems go away and never come again. Changes are taking place on the different levels. Inner energy starts to flow and the thoughts in head clear up. There is a feeling of confidence. Life becomes bright, inspiring, fascinating and very interesting. And we are happy to share our talents and gifts with the world.
I am an all round artist. I like to express myself freely using the brush. It is the most fascinating and exciting state. Endless search for new things and experiment with different techniques, materials and styles. The canvas is a place of relaxation and fascinating discoveries. I work with acrylics, oil, egg tempera, pencils, ink and airbrush. From 2016 and till now, I am developing myself in fotorealism/ hyperrealism at Foxy studio, by Marissa Oosterlee.
