Станислав Поликарпов родился 8 октября 1988 года, в г. Туле. С 2006 года живет и работает в г. Москве. В 2011 году окончил Национальный исследовательский университет – Высшую школу экономики. В 2015 году поступил на курсы в Школу живописи и рисунка, организованную в стенах МГАХИ им. Сурикова, которую в 2017 году успешно окончил. Более 5 лет занимается живописью и рисунком в мастерской под руководством Георгия Сергеевича Кара-Мурзы и Евгении Борисовны Савиной. Как активного жителя мегаполиса, стремящегося к лучшему, автора интересует энергия витальности. Для него она реализуется через ощущение свидетеля, понимание и ощущение момента. В этом ему помогает работа с материалами, контакт с натурой. Именно поэтому Станислав использует масляную живопись и работает в разных жанрах, представленных соответствующими сериями. В натюрморте автор стремится передать момент через строгую компоновку обыденных предметов и возникающие отношения внутри них. В пейзаже автор преображает реальность через фиксацию динамики городской среды в летние месяцы, когда выбирался на пленэр. В портрете автор стремится постигнуть состояния человека через выражение образа в непосредственный момент работы с натурой.
