Gilles Chambon ist ein zeitgenössischer französischer Maler. Nachdem er fantastische Städte in Aquarell geschaffen hatte, wandte er sich der Ölmalerei zu und interpretierte die Themen der klassischen Maler auf exzentrische Weise neu. Seit 2014 praktiziert er synchronistische Malerei, die darin besteht, dass in jedem Bild Fragmente aus der Geschichte der Malerei entlehnt und neu interpretiert werden.
Das gemalte Bild hat noch immer eine magische Wirkung auf Chambon. Seine kreative Methode konzentriert sich auf die Untersuchung der Verbindungen zwischen antiken und zeitgenössischen Werken und produziert neue Poesie, die er als synchronistische Malerei bezeichnet. Chambon stellte seine Werke sowohl national als auch international in China, Japan, Belgien und Spanien aus. 2018 erhielt er die Bronzemedaille beim 228. Salon des Artistes Français für eines seiner Gemälde.
