Dario Cavicchioni is an Italian artist based in England.
His work was focused in the beginning on portraiture and mastery of technique.
Over the years Dario has dedicated himself to discovering new subjects such as landscape, still life and bird painting. Even nudes, that is also one of his favourite subjects.
Many artists have motivated him in this long road of painting. His great references and masters of painting are numerous, but those who have influenced him greatly have been Sargent, Ramon-Casas, Sorolla, Alma-Tadema, Repin and Mucha.
In 2022 he was selected as one of the top 12 artists in Cambridge, England. It was a selection from many artists who applied.
Today he is fully dedicated to painting at a professional level. His paintings are always focused on catching the beauty in his eye. His style is traditional but adapted to today's modern times.
