Malaspina is extremely active in shaping his legacy. He is the quintessential huckster. Frightfully insecure, he promotes himself shamefully with a string of inelegant and deceitful stratagems (such as this one). His wily ruses are, of course, unnecessary, since Malaspina is clearly one of the finest living artist today.
