This is popular candy cane - one of Christmas symbols, "singing" phrases from the famous classic Christmas song. The "trickling" digits and letters are the words of the song encrypted into hexadecimal (16 digit) code, which is the reference to widely used today blockchain technology and it's also my parody on machines trying to simulate humans. The code the candy is "playing" and the fact it's "recorded" is influenced by gramophone disc's and buddhist prayer wheels.
