Amy "ah-mee" Zausmer is an artist and a world traveler. She was born in Java and she grew up in Sumatra, Indonesia.
Her paintings reveal her passion for diverse cultures, animals, landscapes and sea creatures. She is influenced by the brushwork of Monet and Renoir as well as by old black and white photographs. She admires their beautiful compositions and sense of quite peace.
Amy moved to Aspen, Colorado in 2000 and studied art at Colorado Mountain College. Her work has been displayed at varies galleries in the Aspen area like Aspen Art Museum, Red Brick Art Gallery/The Gallery, Aspen Chapel Gallery, CMC Gallery and more. Amy also donates her artwork to the local non-profit organizations continuously.
Amy lives in Scottsdale, Arizona since August 2016.

Amy "ah-mee" Zausmer is an artist and a world traveler. She was born in Java and she grew up in Sumatra, Indonesia.

Amy Zausmer has been working on more paintings in the Silhouette series and she also has been working on the black and white drawing charcoal on paper series of the The faces of Papuan children. On The faces of Papua Children series, she inspires by her recent trip to Raja Ampat and trekking in the Baliem Valley, Papua, Indonesia.
