Perceptions of the Truth. In science an experiment usually means keeping as many constants as possible and one variable, which can be monitored. Not so in art, we need no definite result. In fact by experimenting without limitations means just going for it, no matter how ridiculous the outcome. By following my gut instinct to create, (inarticulate mind), I took the prints as far as the one application of ink would allow. Much of my work with a psychologist looked at perception. What I perceive as the truth to an event, and more importantly what others may perceive. In the past my perception was the only truth. These prints are all true copies of an original inked plate and resin shape, yet each one is different, there is no indication of the resins, (truth), colours either. Using black was not a thought out decision, just a need to use it. BPD is often called black and white thinking. This is anything but clear cut black and white. It seems obvious to me that what is inside the subconscious mind will for an artist be placed into the work. 3xA4 prints on paper.
