Tibi Lebovitz

Born in 1948, he came to Israel at the age of 13 and was educated at the “Ga’aton” Kibotz. There he learned to work in ceramics, mostly in sculpturing images.
Over the years, Tibi dealt with a variety of art forms, varying from molding iron and sand burning in glass to painting. For the last years he has been sculpturing with wood, a field of expression that had most appealed to him. The knowledge how to sculpture wood is self toughed. He chose to carve wood since it is his favorite material.
