To create her dreamlike landscapes and portraits, Helena Palazzi starts with large, softly colored photographs. She then adds layers of photographs, wax, pigments and resin. Last, she photographs the final multi-dimensional tapestry of stories and symbols.

LIMITED EDITION (every print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist)
PRINTING SPECS: Photographs are printed to the highest industry standard by an experienced fine art printer in collaboration with the artist. We use Epson inkjet pigments on Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag paper (both inks and papers are archival), hand-cut to selected size. The paper has a substantial feel and a smooth surface with a bit of luster to it (it is not matte).

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Originally from Sweden, Helena Palazzi began her journey into photography as a teen. In 1993 she moved to Italy, where she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, Umbria. She quickly her first solo exhibition. Many more would follow over the next few years, featuring her photography along with her mixed media work.
