A society shaping and environment changing personal transportation technology spanning a hundred years, that is now, perhaps on the way out. Seen here now as brightly painted decaying, and somewhat threatening machines on an expanse oil soaked ground, though from a distance displaying the colours, reflections and class of cheap flash jewelry, their elements are visibly returning to the earth from which they were recently mined.
Once, they were an exciting gateway to the world, a landscape roaming status symbol, freedom and fun for all….. while it lasted.
