The Lovers oil painting depicts two exquisite lovers locked In an embrace. I loved working with the colours the blues, the yellows, I loved the form it took, I love the beauty, beauty is a feeling, a glow inside that radiates out, I try to capture that glow with every brush or knife stroke. I wanted “The Lovers” to look comfortable with lots of pleasing curves, ageless, of indeterminate origin or nationality and without boundaries, but above all at ease with themselves.

Ta Byrne was born in Thailand in 1974. Despite her passion for art, she once believed that becoming an artist was an impossible dream. However, a small sketch she drew in 2010 changed her life forever. Since then, she has achieved great success as an artist, with her paintings being displayed in homes, offices, hotels, and restaurants across more than 66 countries. This is an incredible feat for someone who had to leave school at the age of 12 to work in the rice fields of Thailand. In addition to her success as an artist, Ta Byrne is also set to release a book soon.
