Suely Vicente, mais conhecida como Sue Vicente, nasceu na cidade de Assomada, Santa Catarina, na Ilha de Santiago, em Cabo Verde. Artista plástica, tem feito vários trabalhos relacionados com o mundo das artes, nomeadamente nas áreas de pintura, design e arquitetura de interiores, escultura e instalações de iluminação artística.A sua primeira exposição, "Nha corpo, Nha estribilim", inaugurou em agosto de 2020, numa parceria com a Wink Kriola, organização sem fins lucrativos que promove os direitos humanos, a igualdade de género e a formação de jovens, e presta auxílio às mulheres cabo-verdianas nos seus problemas do dia a dia. Em "Nha corpo, Nha estribilim", o corpo feminino ganha novas perspetivas que transcendem a sua forma e maneira de estar e sublinham a conexão mind, body & soul. A “Alma Kriol [A | O]”, segunda exposição de Sue Vicente, foi inaugurada em março de 2021 no Palácio Cultural Ildo Lobo, na cidade da Praia. Esta mostra, que tem como principal inspiração a Natureza e o processo de transformação, apresenta retratos “vistos de um ângulo espiritual dos traços cabo-verdianos”. “Melanina Quântica”, tema da terceira exposição, patente na Biblioteca Nacional de Cabo Verde, uma fusão entre a melanina e a energia da natureza. Esta exposição acontece a propósito do lançamento do livro Melanina Quântica, de Vanilce Veiga, ilustrado por Sue Vicente.Sue Vicente é a fundadora do projeto “Post Card”, postais pintados que podem ser enviados a todos e para qualquer parte do mundo, cujo principal objetivo é aproximar a arte as pessoas e aos seus momentos importantes.
Partica em duas colectivas de artistas, nacional (Palácio da Cultura Ildo Lobo,Cabo Verde) e internacional ( “ De dentro e fora”, UCCLA) com as obras " Lê " e " Mira ".
