Paco Pomet is a contemporary Spanish painter. Pomet's brilliantly scathing insights on human existence combine keen observation, comedy, and realism. Pop references and vibrant color blend social commentary into fictional historical events, emphasizing the everlasting nature of our worries and endeavors.
Paco Pomet was born in 1970, in Spain. He exhibited his works nationally, as well as internationally in the USA, Denmark, Canada, UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy. Pomet's work has also been shown at the Beijing International Art Biennale, where he received an Award for Excellence in 2010, and the Banksy-curated Dismaland Bemusement Park in 2015. In the same year, an individual retrospective was held at The Baker Museum in Florida. His paintings are in various public collections in Spain, including the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the IVAM (Valencia Institute of Modern Art).
