Jennifer Tyrode, a contemporary French painter, channels her artistic talents towards raising public awareness about the richness of our oceans. Self-taught, she stumbled upon dry pastel in June 2021, a medium that sparked a profound revelation in her creative journey. Embracing dry pastel, Jennifer finds it to be liberating, offering her the freedom to express herself with each stroke, whether aiming for realism or exploring abstract forms.
As the daughter of a sailor, Jennifer's upbringing has instilled in her a deep sensitivity towards the fragility of our oceans, the largest ecosystem on Earth. Moved by its biodiversity, often overlooked and underexplored, she feels compelled to bring attention to its wonders. Thus, she has made the ocean her primary muse, striving to convey its beauty and the importance of its inhabitants through her art.
