Biography
Elena Osuna was born in North Carolina, USA. She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has been a lecturer for printmaking and drawing and an adjunct professor for web design. She has works in many private collections and has exhibited in various cities around the world. She has lived in the USA, Germany, Vietnam and currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.
She is inspired by nature, existential psychology and the graphic detail of the early Dutch masters. During her studies she created numerous narrative and illustrational artist’s books. Later she departed from bookmaking and primarily worked on painting and drawing. Her work is figurative, highly detailed and realistic.
