"Inspired by classical masters, Bahadori uses his unique contemporary abstract juxtapositions, bending the perspective and interfering with realism. The artist completed this during the 2024 New Year holidays. “At this time of gift exchange, many have little to give or receive, and many have doubts about who to give to and expect.” Bahadori says. He leaves the interpretation to the viewer. With figurative morphs and a Venetian Scaramouche mask on the top left, the narrative is left obscure.

“Doubt” is both a multimedia and mixed-media painting. Bahadori digitally combined and altered images of his separate studies on paper and canvas using pastel and acrylic. He then professionally printed the digital collage on museum-grade archival canvas (stretched on heavy-duty double-wood bars) and hand-embellished it with acrylic."

Abol Bahadori is a contemporary award-winning Azerbaijani painter. Currently based in the United States, he has garnered acclaim for his vibrant abstract and surreal works showcased in a multitude of national and international solo and group exhibitions.

Bahadori's multicultural upbringing, spanning from Iran to France, England, and ultimately the United States, serves as a profound influence on his artistic practice. This influence manifests in his striking use of bright colors and incorporation of kaleidoscopic elements, reflecting the diverse cultural tapestry that has shaped his worldview.

With a robust background in both textile and graphic design, Bahadori brings a unique perspective to his artistic endeavors. His intuitive approach to creation, marked by spontaneity, blends traditional painting with digital art, employing innovative layering techniques that result in a distinctive artistic expression.

For Bahadori, art transcends the visual and becomes a gateway to the subconscious, with color serving as the key to unlock hidden realms. His artistic process is described as a spiritual journey through the colors he perceives, akin to a composer hearing notes in their mind. This spontaneous process unfolds beyond the realm of self and intellect, as forms emerge to represent the vivid hues that captivate his senses.

Bahadori views himself as more than just an artist; he considers himself a medium. His goal is to provide observers, and himself, with access to the forgotten or unknown. Success, in his view, is achieved when each viewer finds their own story within his art, forging a deeper connection to themselves and the universe.

Abol Bahadori's art transcends mere visual representation, inviting viewers to explore the spaces between the known and unknown. His work serves as a conduit to the subconscious, where color becomes a language that resonates on a spiritual level, fostering connections between individuals and the vast universe that surrounds them.
