Sinds 1981 actief in het kunstmilieu. Geboren in Berlijn(D), wonen en werken in Brugge(B).Aanvankelijk begonnen in de schilderkunst experimenterend op zoek naar andere materies. Ik deed mijn kennis op in verscheidene disciplines binnen de beeldende kunsten. Mijn werk is gebaseerd op voortdurend onderzoek, dat meteen ook de inhoudelijke waarde van mijn werk bepaald. Een manier om mij los te maken van de gangbare technieken, om mijn denkbeelden terug vorm te geven. Figuratie is meestal aanwezig in mijn werk, geabstraheerd of gestileerd. Ik noem mijn werk dan ook "Non-abstrakt ". Wie mij beter kent weet dat ik mij niet aan één stijl hou bij mijn creaties. Soms is mijn week wat realistischer, soms expressiever, soms grafisch... . Ook mijn onderwerpen hebben niet veel met elkaar te maken, maar keren in de loop der jaren terug. Velen denken dat je als kunstenaar een signatuur moet hebben. Vroeger maakte ik mij daar druk over. Nu heb ik dit losgelaten en creëer ik wat voor mij het best aa´voelt. Ik hou van afwisseling, zowel naar proces als naar het resultaat. Toch is er een rode draad herkenbaar in mijn werk, kleuren die ik gebruik of figuratie die terugkeert. Reeds verscheidene nationale tentoonstellingen, selecties en onderscheidingen behaald.
Studies: Hoger Kunstonderwijs, Finaliteit Beeldende Kunsten , Schilder en tekenkunsten, later Keramiek/glaskunsten, en Grafische technieken.
