Il a fait des études supérieures d’arts plastiques à l’école des Beaux Arts de Farnham, Surrey, Angleterre, puis de Maidstone, Kent, Angleterre dans les années soixante, soixante-dix.
Ses inspirations sont variées, allant du nu au monde de l'art ainsi que du sport en passant par la mode et la littérature. Esthète comme le sont tous les artistes, le monde qui l'entoure est une source d'inspiration. Son éducation classique se reflète dans sa peinture de nus, qui requière une maitrise particulière afin d'illustrer l’influence de la lumière et l'environnement sur les modèles peints.
