Dragoljub Zamurović is an internationally acclaimed photojournalist and visual artist whose work has been published in over 200 magazines worldwide. He is best known for his powerful storytelling through photography, often capturing the essence of people, landscapes, and cultures with profound sensitivity.
Zamurović has produced more than ten major photo essays and two cover stories for National Geographic Magazine. His work has also appeared in the legendary LIFE magazine, including a cover and several full-spread photographs featured in the prestigious “Big Pictures” section. All his published photographs have been signed under the name Art Zamur/Gamma, a mark recognized by leading publications around the world.
As a longtime correspondent for the French photo agency Gamma, his photography has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, TIME, Newsweek, Stern, Paris Match, Figaro Magazine, The Sunday Times, GEO, and many others. He is the recipient of numerous lifetime achievement awards and national honors for his contribution to photography and visual culture.
In addition to photojournalism, Zamurović has published over twenty photographic monographs and exhibited extensively, both in prestigious galleries and in large-scale open-air public installations viewed by over a million visitors.
