Artiste du Val de Saire, au bout de la Normandie, j’ai toujours été attirée par les couleurs et les matières. J’ai d’abord utilisé les tissus, j’ai découpé, j’ai cousu pour exprimer ma créativité. J’ai cherché le moyen le plus simple pour rendre l’invisible qui me saute aux yeux visible des autres. Je me suis essayée au figuratif, au fusain et à la peinture à l’huile. En 2010, j’ai découvert la peinture acrylique. C’est un univers qui m’offre une totale liberté d’expression et de saisie des mouvements. Mes toiles sont spontanées, je ne réalise pas d’esquisses. Je sélectionne une palette de couleurs que je travaille au pinceau et au couteau. Face à la toile, j’entre dans un état particulier qui suspend ma conscience et fait de mes mains les instruments d’une volonté qui me dépasse. Mon pinceau joue avec les couleurs comme un fauve avec des nuages : il guette, il encercle et il saisit au bond les mouvements de couleur qui naissent sous mes yeux. Mes toiles ne disent rien. Elles ne sont pas messages mais messagères. Elles sont des instantanés d’émotions inconnues et pourtant comprises de tous.
Artist from Val de Saire, at the edge of Normandy, I have always been drawn to colors and materials. My paintings are spontaneous; I don't make sketches. I select a color palette that I work with a brush and a knife. My paintings say nothing. They are not messages, but messengers. They are snapshots of unknown emotions, yet understood by all.
