Sophie Lambert, née à Oslo en 1965, étudie les arts graphiques à l’atelier Met de Pennighen et la photographie aux Gobelins, à Paris. Graphiste indépendante, elle travaille comme assistante de production, modèle et collabore avec plusieurs photographes de mode, poursuivant recherche artistique et formation. A partir de 1997, elle expose ses peintures - Galerie envie d'art, Chapelle Saint-louis de la Salpétrière, Espace Ricard, Salon de Montrouge, Hôtel de ville de Paris.
En 2015, elle présente à l’Alliance française de Venise, encres, installation, dispositif vidéo. Pour Nuit Blanche 2016, elle crée Comme un rêve de verre... aux Archives Nationales, installation monumentale, verre, lumière, environnement sonore, en partenariat avec le CIAV – Meisenthal. Elle collabore avec l'artiste Zad Moultaka représentant le Liban à la 57éme biennale d’art contemporain de Venise. Entre 2018 et 2021, elle crée trois performances (La salle de bain du collectionneur, Nuit Blanche), avec les contributions d'un percussionniste, d'un chanteur et d'une chorégraphe. Elle développe actuellement un projet de création de bijoux.
Elle enseigne le dessin, notamment à l’école nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris Est (2000 à 2006) et actuellement à Sèvres – Manufacture et musées nationaux. Elle conçoit et anime des ateliers artistiques pour les musées - Maison Européenne de la photographie (2007-2015), Musée National Picasso Paris, Cité de l’architecture et du Patrimoine.
Elle est diplômée de l’École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Lyon - Diplôme national supérieur d’expression plastique - mention art (2021).
