Né à Paris en 1995, Laurent Poleo Garnier démarre ses études par une école de communication visuelle avant de se diriger vers les arts plastiques qui privilégient une approche plus libre. Après une classe préparatoire, il intègre en 2015 les ateliers de Patrick Tosani, de Marie-José Burki et enfin d’Hélène Delprat aux Beaux-Arts de Paris. Il y explore différents modes d’expression tels que la vidéo, le dessin, la danse et la photographie qui devient son médium de prédilection. En 2019, Il part étudier à la UDK de Berlin et obtient son diplôme en 2020. La même année, le Festival d’Automne sélectionne pour sa campagne d’affichage dans Paris le portrait qu’il a réalisé du chorégraphe/danseur François Chaignaud.
En 2021 Une première exposition personnelle lui est consacrée à la Galerie du Crous à Paris et il remporte le deuxième prix PICTO de la photographie de mode et la dotation le19M de la Photographie des Métiers d’Art pour une collaboration avec la Maison Lesage.
Ses photographies intègrent les collections publiques du Palais Galliera, musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.
