Seine aktuellen Wandskulpturen persiflieren klassische Jagdtrophäen, während seine Kerzenreliefs mit dem wandernden Kerzenlicht oder der kybernetischen Dynamik des Abbrands spielen – das Licht wird dabei zum aktiven Gestalter der Komposition.
Die Werke von Michael Rosenkranz haben ihren Weg in zahlreiche europäische Metropolen gefunden und sind auch in vielen Städten der USA und Kanadas vertreten.
Als ausgebildeter Kachelofenbauer verfügt er über fundiertes Fachwissen in verschiedenen Guss- und Aufbauverfahren mit Beton. Nach einem Studium der Sozialwissenschaften war er als Projektmanager und im Bereich Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für soziale Organisationen tätig. Seine Leidenschaft für Fotografie rundet das künstlerische Profil ab.
