关于作者
Silvia Sas combined her university studies in physics and chemistry with her great passion: painting. She has spent much of her life in studios, first training under the guidance of great professionals and later creating her own studio in Girona, Spain. There, she had her own gallery and, currently, she has moved her painting studio to the outskirts of Barcelona, located near Vilassar de Mar, where she enjoys both the sea and the forests of the natural park.
Her paintings are characterized by colour and movement, the result of her 10 years dedicated to classical dance. The artworks are charged with Feng Shui, transmitting peace and energy, transforming the space into a healthy place full of joy.
The peers say “she is the great painter of light” because of the strength her paintings convey. Her specialization in the scientific field of astrophysics made it a constant in her paintings to capture light, its energy, and to transmit it in all its splendour.
Since relocating to her new studio, her main sales have been online, selling worldwide. She also takes large commissioned works and offers the option to create original pieces on demand in various standard sizes.
“My paintings, figurative, conceptual and abstract, they are based on choreographies, on the expression of emotions through the body, on dance, on the infinity of space, on the electromagnetic vibration of light. Sensations such as awakening in meditation, the passage of time, the depth of the ocean, or the intensity of fire; real motifs like a storm, the cold of a city, the warmth of a landscape, the evolution of a constellation, or the movement of a woman walking with her child.
I combine different materials, colours, and techniques, both learned in the various studios where I have trained and innovative ones I have experimented with to create and convey through painting what I want the viewer to feel and perceive when looking at my work.
The constant in all my paintings is the light, the movement, the vividness of colours, and the strength of the shapes.”
