关于作者
Serhiy Chepel comes from a long ancestral line of sculptors. Since a very young age, he was drawn
to creating artworks by observing all the beautiful forms seen in nature, the aged patina greendomed churches, and the surrounding hills around his native city, Lviv.
In 1991, Serhiy graduated from the Ivan Trush College of Decorative and Applied Arts, and in 1997,
graduated from Lviv’s Academy of Arts majoring in monumental and Decorative Sculpture. Each
one of his luminous sculptures is made of natural birch wood and cast brass. The works are
uniquely carved by hand, and the creation process of each piece can take over a month to
complete. Serhiy is a full-time artist and continues to live and work in Lviv, also known as “Little
Paris of Ukraine.”
