Andrea Elek is a self-taught abstract artist, interior designer, and Tibetan singing bowl therapist based in Hungary. Her artistic journey is deeply rooted in her multifaceted life experiences, spiritual practices, and innate sensitivity to energies. Andrea’s works are a testament to her ability to blend diverse inspirations into bold, textured abstract creations that resonate with viewers on a sensory level.
Andrea Elek was born and raised in a small city near Budapest, Hungary. From an early age, she was highly sensitive to energies and sought creative outlets to express her emotions. Encouraged by her parents, she began playing the organ, which fostered a lifelong love of music and creativity.
In her twenties, Andrea joined the crew of Holiday on Ice, touring the world and helped in creating costumes for ice revue performances. This six-year journey gave her invaluable life experience and a global perspective.
In her thirties, she co-founded a telecommunications company with her husband, which operated as a franchise partner of Magyar Telekom, while raising their two daughters.
In her forties, her spiritual interests led her to pursue diplomas in sound bowl healing therapy, parapsychology, astrology, and chronobiology. Andrea began combining sound healing sessions with meditations, using Tibetan singing bowls and other intuitive instruments.
Her passion for design led her to graduate as an interior designer, where she drew inspiration from textures and artworks in the design world. Listening to her inner voice, Andrea embraced abstract painting as a way to channel her creativity and inner energy.

Andrea’s abstract works merge natural elements, bold textures, and dynamic compositions. She experiments with sand, moss, shells, textiles, and other materials to create textured, three-dimensional surfaces.
