Thierry Pascoal est un artiste peintre autodidacte qui s'est lancé sur le tard après des études dans la communication, les sciences humaines, puis une carrière dans l'informatique. Impressionné par les œuvres de Dali dès son plus jeune âge, il se découvre par hasard un talent pour la peinture lorsque son professeur d'arts plastiques au collège le félicite pour un autoportrait dans un style Pop Art. Jeune adulte il s'émerveille devant Kandinsky, Matisse, Van Gogh et Miró. La créativité a ensuite jalonné son parcours, depuis le support au développement culturel en passant par la musique électronique ou la création de tous les designs d'une marque de vêtements qu'il a lui-même fondée. Passionné par la couleur, il décide un jour de la "jeter" sur une toile. Il affectionne particulièrement l'art abstrait et la peinture acrylique pour sa rapidité de séchage. Son art puise dans plusieurs styles dont l'impressionnisme ou l'expressionnisme abstrait selon l'humeur. Ses œuvres ne portent pas de nom, il préfère que le spectateur soit libre de toute interprétation et libre de ressentir des émotions en toute intimité, sans interférence.
