I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which was part of the former USSR. My childhood and young adulthood were spent there.
In 1994 I graduated from the Kazakh Academy of Arts and started working as an art editor, journalist, and designer. For the next twelve years I actively engaged in various forms of decorative and applied arts and interior design.
In 2006, I moved to St. Petersburg, Russia, where I continued to work in these fields.
However, recently, painting has become my favorite activity. I use a variety of mediums, such as acrylic, watercolors, watercolor pencils, and ink, depending on the project. I enjoy drawing people, faces, creating stories, and capturing moods. My inspiration comes from art, music, nature, my children, and friends.
