Für mich ist es ein wirkliches „Wunder“, wie wir Erinnerungen und Eindrücke in Bildern im Gehirn speichern. In Träumen sogar neue Bilder erzeugen können. Diese „innerlichen Bilder“ spielen in meiner malerischen Auseinandersetzung eine große Rolle. So ist die Malerei vielleicht der Versuch, eine Verknüpfung zwischen bildlichen Gedanken und der Wirklichkeit herzustellen.
