关于作者
Nastya Prairie — Contemporary Artist | Oil Painting | Soulful Boho Narratives
Nastya Prairie is a contemporary self-taught artist from Russia whose works are held in private collections across London, Berlin, India, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
For Nastya, painting is not simply a medium — it’s a dialogue with the world, a search for truth, beauty, and inner stillness. Her canvases reflect freedom, strength, vulnerability, and the deep emotional landscapes of the human spirit.
Since 2012, oil has become her true language — a tool for storytelling and self-exploration. Through it, she creates soulful, symbolic portraits that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect. Her figures are not just people — they are metaphors of quiet rebellion, resilience, and the journey toward authenticity.
In 2022, she was awarded:
— 1st place in “Folk Motifs” at St. Petersburg Art Week for her portrait Saint Frida. Unbroken
— 2nd place in “Esotericism” for The Dark Side of the Moon, later acquired by a private collector.
Her portrait of Frida Kahlo was also exhibited at “Talents of Russia” and shown at the New Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
Nastya is currently studying classical painting and drawing under graduates of the Ilya Repin Academy of Arts, while exploring techniques with mentors across Europe and the US — seeking not imitation, but her own expressive visual language.
Inspired by silence, nature, cultural diversity, and the quiet strength of people, her art blends bohemian aesthetics with emotional depth. The Boho series — launched in 2024 — is a tribute to those who walk their own path, alone or together, in search of freedom, meaning, and inner truth.
Each painting is more than a visual — it is a story, a whisper, a breath. Her art doesn’t shout — it stays with you.
