My goal in art is to find beauty in ordinary and simple things. I made my first photo when I was a kid, it was a miracle. Now I feel the same way when harmony and beauty appear in my works. I like to experiment. I shoot in black and white and in color, on film and digitally.
I prefer "honest" photography, I don't use photomontage, and I generally leave my images almost unedited. Lately I've been shooting with a Hasselblad digital camera. I love the stunning color of photos "straight out of the camera".
A pleasing to the eye, harmonious frame can be captured with any camera. I've been showing this my entire photographic life. I'm sure that ordinary and familiar things become beautiful if you wait. They will open up to your gaze. Just like the light that hits an object or landscape at a certain time makes them beautiful and alive.
Born in the USSR, Kazakhstan, the city of Dzhezkazgan, in 1969.
In 1986 he graduated from high school. Entered the institute in Tomsk, Siberia, to specialize in radio engineering. Graduated in 1992.
In 2004 he moved to Moscow. Has been working as a photographer since 1992.
Has been involved in amateur photography since the age of 10. Self-taught.
Now a professional photographer. Teacher.
