Sono Zaskotska Oksana Jaroslavivna (nome d'arte :ZOJa), nata in Ucraina il 3 febbraio 1971.
Fin da piccola ho coltivato la passione per il disegno, poi successivamente per la pittura che ho sperimentato autonomamente. Dipingo prima con il cuore, poi utilizzando, oltre i pennelli, le mani nude per entrare nella dimensione colore di cui amo il contatto, amo il odore. Dipingere per me è come respirare, si apre una finestra nell'immaginario in qui tutto è possibile, nulla è perfetto ma assolutamente e meravigliosamente unico.
Ho sempre voluto intraprendere un percorso formativo artistico ma la successione degli eventi non mi hanno permesso, non facendomi comunque passare la voglia di dipingere come autodidatta. Nel 1990, dunque, mi Laureo in Idrometeorologia, svolgendo la specializzazione nella Stazione Meteorologica Siberiana.
Nel 1998 mi trasferisco in Italia, dove con studio ed impegno prendo la qualifica di OSS, mestiere che svolgo quotidianamente da ormai da 18 anni, continuando a dipingere nel tempo libero.
Solo nel 2018 la passione per l'arte diventò per me come fiume in piena, tanto da portarmi ad iscrivermi a più Associazioni culturali, tra le quali "Il Cenacolo"; "Arte Libera-Mente" ; "A. L. I"( Artisti Liberi Indipendenti); "ARTGlobal" ; "Cultura Identità", partecipando attivamente sia a mostre collettive che personali.
Attualmente le mie opere sono esposte in collezioni private anche all'estero.
