J’ai débuté par la peinture à l’huile dans les années 70 avec l’aide d’un ami artiste.
Dans les années 1980, j’ai commencé l’aquarelle en raison de la beauté des couleurs, du faible encombrement du matériel et de la rapidité d’exécution.
Depuis cette date, je peins régulièrement à l’aquarelle et à l’huile.
Je consacre beaucoup plus de temps à la peinture. Ce qui me permet de participer à des associations et à plusieurs expositions particulières ou collectives.
Beaucoup de thème m’intéresse : architecture ancienne, paysages champêtres, activités humaines, répétitions, silhouettes.
J’aime la douceur et la légèreté de l’aquarelle, le travail de l’eau et surtout laisser travailler l’aquarelle !
Dans la peinture à l’huile, j'aime particulièrement le travail de la matière et le mélange des couleurs.
