Licenciei-me em 1991, em Design Gráfico pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto.
Desde essa data trabalho como designer gráfico e sobretudo como ilustradora, quer de livros para a infância, quer de manuais escolares.
Ilustração manual e digital, design gráfico nas suas várias vertentes, fotografia, edição de fotografia, edição de vídeo e som, paginação, entre outras, são algumas das ferramentas que uso e domino, numa perspectiva abrangente que tornam a minha experiência criativa pluridisciplinar.
Paralelamente, e desde 1994, exerço a atividade docente, como professora de Artes Visuais e Multimédia.
Estas duas atividades profissionais, a docente e a artística, completam-se e complementam-se, pois numa busco a fonte de inspiração para a outra.
Os meus trabalhos de ilustração e pintura inspiram-se sobretudo no universo infantil e no hiperrealismo.
