Lycéen, Vincent Monluc suivait assidûment les cours du soir de modèles vivants aux Beaux-Arts de Poitiers. Pendant ses années d’études a la faculté d'arts plastiques, Il peignait et vendait ses aquarelles pendant l’été. Après l’obtention de la licence d’Arts Plastiques à l'Université de Bordeaux III - France, il passait le CAPES et enseignait dans un lycée au Havre en Normandie. En même temps il passait le concours d’entrée dans le département de cinéma de l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Apres avoir remporté le Grand Prix du Jury du Festival National du film d'animation pour son premier court-métrage "Parfum de Nuit", il quittait l’Education Nationale et faisait la carrière dans le dessin animé en tant que réalisateur., animateur, story-board artiste, layout artiste et directeur général de studio.
Sa passion a toujours été la peinture, en particulier l'aquarelle. Il a toujours peint en extérieur, suivant l’exemple des grands maîtres de l’impressionnisme, observant les couleurs, les lumières, le mouvement, les gens, la vie quotidienne. Ses maîtres de référence sont Joaquin Sorolla peintre Espagnol et John Singer Sargent aquarelliste Américain. Les pays ou Vincent aime peindre sont La France, L'Italie, L'Espagne et Le Vietnam ou il vit en ce moment.
