Kapila Priyantha is an artist who was always interested in creative even from his childhood days.
He has previously held several art exhibitions with some another artists participating in, which was conducted by George Keyt Foundation. His skills and experience enable him to make creations in multiple mediums, but his preference is more towards Acrylics due to its versatility and ease of use. He also loves to create drawings on various subjects and shapes such as nature inspired subjects along with human and animal forms beautifully created on his canvasses.
And also he is making hand crafted scenes from driftwood found from river coasts. As he said he is doing these things not only for earning money but also for his pleasure.
Kapila is currently employed as a chef and his dedication to his beloved craft has not even diminished a bit. He is considering painting as his second profession. He was in US embassy Doha Qatar as a marine chef from 2010-2013. There too he considered painting as one of his main work and many people bought his paintings in that short period of time. And the people who bought those paintings recommended him to others and they also bought many paintings from him. He modestly says that there are over 50 paintings in the USA and over 100 of his paintings in the legacy art gallery of Qatar.
