Élisabeth d’Equainville née en 1954 est une artiste française établie à Nice.
Elle laisse de côté sa vraie passion du dessin de mode pour entamer une courte carrière d étalagiste mais le dessin lui manque et elle integrera finalement une ecole de fresquistes. Elle réalise de nombreux chantiers sur la côte d azur de peinture décorative, façades, trompe l oeil, etc…
Elle ouvre son propre atelier sur les hauteurs de Nice pour se consacrer entièrement et définitivement a sa passion et la vivre pleinement.
Ses toiles s etoffent avec de la matière et de la résine et après quelques expositions commencent a se vendre.
Puis elle vient progressivement à la 3D et attaque la sculpture. Autodidacte dans ce domaine elle cherche, tâtonne, se perfectionne pour trouver enfin sa voie, ce qui lui correspond le mieux : la résine.
Comme dans ses tableaux un thème prédomine : l’ Escarpin. Pourquoi ? Objet fétichiste ? Passion incessante de la mode? Petite taille de l artiste?Nul ne le sait mais Élisabeth bouscule les codes de la mode, du luxe, de l originalité afin que chacune de ses œuvres raconte une histoire.
