Hi, my name is Adonis and this is my story :)
By education I am a lawyer with a focus on international law, but by my own admission I am a musician and artist. For a long time I worked in the music industry and devoted all my free time to music and my band in which I sang and played the guitar. But now it is time for a change, time to devote myself to more peaceful creativity.
Drawing for me is more than just a hobby. Drawing and psychology helped me to cope with my bad habits while I was a musician and find another useful purposes in life. Acquiring this truly magical skill helped me to see all the beauty of the world around me. And to learn to appreciate what I have now - my Family: my wife and my son, who patiently walked the entire path of my stormy musical career, overcoming the complexities of my character to the moment who I am now. Thanks to them.
I consider myself a self taught artist. For me personally it is to my advantage not being tied to any particular curriculum. This in itself allows freedom to follow my own artistic path. I have a great passion for painting which has spurred me on to achieve a sense of self fulfilment. I learnt through my own research, experimentation, feelings and of course mistakes along the way.
In terms of drawing techniques, I prefer oil pastels and gouache. In terms of drawing style, I like impressionism. From the themes for drawing, I choose beautiful landscapes of nature that bring peace and harmony to my soul. But sometimes I paint pictures on social psychological themes that make you think about the meaning of life and the processes of being that lead to different consequences.
