Tonia nació en Asturias, España , pero su espíritu inquieto e insatisfecho, la lleva a vivir en diferentes ciudades de Europa.
Con exposiciones colectivas y en solitario, ha ido mostrando su trabajo en Barcelona, Tenerife, San Francisco, Munich y Berlin... donde vivió y trabajó los últimos 15 años , ahora se traslada al sur de Alemania y Alsacia, buscando los colores, la intensidad del paisaje de montaña , el bosque de la Selva negra, la luz, la quietud...
Ha ilustrado varios cuentos infantiles en catalan y aleman.
Sus temas aunque son mayoritariamente femenino, tambien toca la caricatura, el dibujo infantil, alimentando facetas que luchan por co-existir en una artista donde el ojo busca incesantemente la forma, la esencia...lo que no se dice. lo que se encuentra...
